Revelations 5:6
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 ¶ And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
This absolutely took my breath away and I immediately felt my sin. When I read this passage and the study bible's note on this. I couldn't believe my eyes.
One of the elders calls John to look at the LION in 5:5.
He looks but sees THE LAMB "as it had been slain".....
Ok, I don't know about you but, that it just humbling and I don't know what to say, or rather how to say what that means to me. To see the condition of Jesus' physical being and knowing what that represented. It was because of me and of you....
John is being shown all of these things and it kinda seems like a whirlwind of information, then everything stand STILL as John beheld his Savior.
I can never imagine seeing Jesus' that way. It breaks my heart to think that my Jesus, Our Lord, suffered like that I might go free.
I'm ...I don't know... Praise God!

hey girl take heart in this passage, it reflecks on what He, Jeaus did and gives us a glimps into what He is going to do. this shows His victory. He was slain for us, He was that Lamb that was slain, but soon and very soon, Jesus will be that Lion of the Trib of Juda:) VICTIORY IS HIS AND IF WE BELIEVE< ACCEPT> AND LIVE FOR HIM we will have that same VICTORY!!!!!!! {A MOMENT IN TIME}
